Customer Background: The customer is a professional logistics enterprise based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, mainly engaged in container transportation between the port and inland areas. With the rapid expansion of cargo throughput at the Port of Dar es Salaam, the customer’s existing fleet faced insufficient capacity and severe vehicle corrosion, creating an urgent need to procure a batch of container skeletal trailers suited to the tropical coastal climate.
Customer’s Core Requirements: After evaluating multiple trailer manufacturers, the customer proactively contacted Jiuzhou Automobile through its official website, focusing on three aspects—high load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, and affordable maintenance costs.
Jiuzhou’s Solution: In response to the customer’s needs, Jiuzhou Automobile provided a customized solution featuring 40-foot three-axle skeletal semi-trailers. The product adopts high-strength Q345 steel main beams, combined with submerged arc full welding to ensure structural strength; the frame undergoes full-vehicle electrophoretic coating treatment to effectively counter metal corrosion caused by the high salt-spray environment of the Dar es Salaam port area. The vehicles are equipped with FUWA brand heavy-duty axles and standard ISO twist locks, compatible with the stable locking of both 20-foot and 40-foot containers. In addition, Jiuzhou Automobile offered adjustable frame length, a reinforced suspension system, and a one-year global warranty, with a flexible minimum order quantity of just one unit to support the customer’s initial trial order.
Cooperation Results: After an on-site factory inspection, the customer confirmed the order and signed a long-term cooperation intention. Once delivered, the batch of skeletal trailers will serve multimodal transport between the Port of Dar es Salaam and inland mining areas, construction sites, and agricultural product supply chains.
