Recently, we completed a batch of fence semi-trailer shipments to Vietnam, serving a local logistics client who needed the trailers for transporting agricultural products and light industrial goods.
This case summarizes the key links of shipping, including pre-preparation, transportation mode selection, customs clearance and on-site delivery, ensuring safe and timely arrival. First, we confirmed the client’s demand: 10 units of 40ft fence semi-trailers, which were semi-disassembled to fit 40GP containers. We strictly inspected the trailers, did anti-rust treatment and labeled key parts. We chose sea-land intermodal transportation—shipping from Chinese ports to Haiphong Port in Vietnam, then transferring to road transportation to the client’s warehouse.
We prepared complete documents, including commercial invoice, packing list, FORM E certificate of origin (to enjoy tariff preferences) and vehicle qualification certificate, ensuring compliant customs declaration in both countries. During loading, we fixed the trailers firmly with steel wire ropes and cushion blocks to avoid damage during transportation. After arriving at Haiphong Port, we cooperated with a local customs broker to complete import clearance efficiently. Finally, the trailers were safely delivered to the client within 12 days, winning high recognition. This case provides a practical reference for fence semi-trailer shipments to Vietnam.
